Butterfly Painted Slates
Butterfly painted slates - Yellow butterfly sitting on a blue flower the garden with wildflowers with another above is hand-painted on a painted slate with watercolors are my original illustrations hand painted on antique roof slates from my 150 yr. barn. I knew I had to paint these little treasures with insects and flowers as I stared at them on the ground. I couldn't see them thrown away when something could be painted on them. They are different sizes but most are about 5 x 4 to 7 x 5 inches.
These make great gifts for collectors of my work.
This listing is for the butterfly in the garden. I sealed the painting and added a hemp cord so you can easily hang it up.
