Bird and Pink Flowers Watercolor Rustic Painted Decor - Detailed watercolor and ink painting with a bird among the pink flowers are painted on paper and adhered to a rustic wood roof shake. Each work started with taking wood salvaged from my 150-year-old barn, washing and sanding them preparing the wood for the paper. I trim the wood down and glue either a creamy or white high-quality paper onto the wood. Using watercolor or acrylic paint I hand paint paper and detail the illustrated design with ink. This comes with a metal hook for hanging and is varnished. My rustic nature wood art is one of a kind and unique to the wood I have salvaged.
